Let breadth = x

Then length = 3x+4

P=2(l+b)

67=2(x+3x+4)

67=2(4x+4)

67=8x+8

8x=59

x=59/8

Length=3x+4

=3×(59/8)+4

=22.125+4

=26.125 m

Let the breadth of the rectangle to be x,

Given that length=4 meters more than thrice it's breadth=3x+4

Perimeter of the hall=67 meter

Perimeter of a rectangle=2(l+b)

=> 2(3x+4+x)=67

=>2(4x+4)=67

=>8x+8=67

=>8x=67-8

=>8x=59

=>x=59/8

=>x=7.37

Breadth of the rectangle is 7.37 m

Length=3*7.37+4 = 26.11 m

Therefore,the length of the rectangle is 26.11m
