  • Let the breadth be x
  • So length will be 3x
  • Perimeter = 48 m

Perimeter of the rectangle = 2( l + b )

48 = 2 ( 3x + x )

48 = 2 × 4x

48 = 8x

48 / 8 = x

8 = x

∴ Length is = 3 × 8 = 24

Breadth is = 8

The Length And Breadth Of The Rectangular Hallway

____________________________________

 \huge \bold \red{Solution◕}

Perimeter Of Rectangular Hallway= 2(L+b)

=> 48= 2(3a+a) \\  \\ => 48=2×(4a) \\  \\ => 48= 8a \\  \\ => a = \cancel\frac{48}{8} \:  \:   ^{6}  \\   \\  = > a =6

 \fbox{Replacing The Value}

Length= 3a

= 3×6 = 18m

Breadth= a

= 6m
