hiii!!!

here's ur answer...

ATQ,

the Length of the rectangular park is 5m more than it's breadth.

let the breadth of the rectangular park be x.

therefore Length is x + 5

perimeter of the rectangular park = 74m

=> 2 ( l + b ) = 74m

=> 2 ( x + 5 + x ) = 74m

=> 2x + 5 = 74/2

=> 2x + 5 = 37

=> 2x = 37 - 5

=> 2x = 32

=> x = 32/2

=> x = 16

hence, breadth of the rectangular park = x

= 16m

length of the rectangular park = x + 5

= 16 + 5

= 21m

VERIFICATION:-

perimeter of the rectangular park = 2 ( l + b )

= 2 ( 21 + 16 )

= 2 × 37

= 74m

hence verified

hope this helps u..!!

Breadth= x metres
Length= x+5 metres
Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)
2(x+x+5) = 74
2(2x+5) = 74
4x+10=74
4x = 64
x = 16
Substituting the Value of x
Breadth = 16metres
Length = (16+5)= 21 metres
Check:
2(16+21)
= 74 metres
Therefore, length = 21 metres
Breadth= 16 metres
