Hi ,

Let the dimensions of the

rectangular park are

Breadth = b m

Length ( l ) = 3b m

According to the problem given,

Perimeter of the park ( P ) = 168 m

2 ( l + b ) = 168 m

2 ( 3b + b ) = 168

2 × 4b = 168

8b = 168

b = 168/8

b = 21 m

But ,

l = 3b

= 3 × 21

l = 63 m

Therefore ,

Park dimensions are ,

l = 63 m , b = 21 m

I hope this helps you.

Hey friend,

Let breadth be x

And length 3x

Perimeter given = 168m

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( l + b)

A.T.Q

2 ( l + b) = 168

By putting value of length and breadth, we get,

2 (3x + x) = 168

=> 2(4x) = 168

=> 4x = 168/2

=> x = 84/4

=> x = 21

Breadth = x = 21 cm

Length = 3x = 3(21) = 63

Hope it helps.
