Answer:

length = 126 m and breadth = 42 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the breadth of the park = b m

length of the park = 3b m

Perimeter of the park =168 m

2(l+b) =168

⇒2(3b+b) =168

⇒4b = 168÷2

4b =84 ⇒ b =42 m then length = 3×42 =  126m

Hi ,

Let the dimensions of the

rectangular park are

Breadth = b m

Length ( l ) = 3b m

According to the problem given,

Perimeter of the park ( P ) = 168 m

2 ( l + b ) = 168 m

2 ( 3b + b ) = 168

2 × 4b = 168

8b = 168

b = 168/8

b = 21 m

But ,

l = 3b

= 3 × 21

l = 63 m

Therefore ,

Park dimensions are ,

l = 63 m , b = 21 m

I hope this helps you.
