Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

Putting the values.

840 = 2(2b+b)

840 = 4b + 2b

840 = 6b

b = 840 / 6

b = 140m

length will be :- 2 x b = 2x140 = 280m

Area of rectangle :- Length x Breadth

Putting the values !

280 x 140 = 39200m^2
