The length of a rectangular Park is twice its breadth if the perimeter of the park is 840m. find the area of the park

breadth=x
length=2x
perimeter=840
perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)
840 = 2(2x+x)
840 =4x+2x
840 =6x
840/6 =x
140=x
length=280
breadth=140
Area of rectangle=l×b
=280×140
=39200m2

let the length be x
and the breadth be 2x
if we find the perimeter the the formulae is 2{l+b}=perimeter
2{x+2x}=840
2x+4x=840
6x=840
x=840/6
x=140
length = 140
then breadth would be 2{140}
280
