Answer:

1 km

Step-by-step explanation:

l = 75 m

b = 50 m

perimeter = 2 * (l + b)

= 2 * (75 + 50)

= 2 * 125

= 250 m

For 1 round, she covered 250 m.

then for 4 rounds,

250 * 4 = 1000 m = 1 km

she walked 1 km.

➝ Here it is given in the question that the length and breadth of a rectangular park is 75 m and 50 m respectively. Now, it is given that Rupali walkes 4 rounds around that rectangular park. Now, the question has asked us to find the distance she has walked. To find the distance first of all we have to find the perimeter of that rectangular park . We simply have to apply the formula of perimeter of rectangle to find its perimeter. And as she walked 4 rounds around the park we will multiply 4 with the perimeter and we will get our answer.

ANSWER:-

☆ Perimeter of the rectangle = 250 m

☆ Distance covered by Rupali = 1 km (1,000 m)

GIVEN:-

↣ Length of the rectangle = 75 m

↣ Breadth of the rectangle = 50 m

FIND:-

➱ Perimeter of the rectangle = ?

➱ Distance covered by Rupali = ?

FORMULAE:-

➮ Perimeter of rectangle = 2(L + B)

➮ Distance covered = [2(L + B)] × 4

Where,

  • L = Length
  • B = Breadth
  • P = Perimeter

SOLVING BY APPLYING THE FORMULA:-

  • FINDING THE Perimeter:-

☞ Perimeter = 2(L + B)

☞ Perimeter = 2(75 m + 50 m)

☞ Perimeter = 2 × 125 m

☞ Perimeter = 2 × 125 m = 250 m

☞ Perimeter = 250 m

Hence, we got the perimeter of the rectangle. The perimeter is 250 m.

  • FINDING DISTANCE COVERED BY RUPALI:-

☛ Distance = [2(75 m + 50 m)] × 4

☛ Distance = (2 × 125 m) × 4

☛ Distance = 250 m × 4

☛ Distance = 120 m × 4 = 1,000 m

☛ Distance = 1,000 m

Thus, distance covered is 1,000 m

  • CONVERTING METRE INTO KILOMETRE:-

☞ 1 km = 1000 m

☞ Distance covered = 1000 m

☞ 1000 m = 1 km

Thus, we got the distance covered by Rupali. She covered 1 km (1,000 m) in 4 rounds.
