The length of a rectangular playground is three times its width. If a boy walks around the ground, he covers 160m. Find its length and Width​

Solution:-

  • Let the Width be x
  • Then the length=3x

Perimeter=2(Length+Breadth)

➯160=2(3x+x)

➯160=2(4x)

➯160=8x

➯160/8=x

➯20=x

then Width=20 metre

Length=3×20=60 metre
