To Find :-

Solution :-

Let

  • Breadth of the rectangular playground be x
  • Length of the rectangular playground will be 2x

Given

  • The perimeter of the rectangular playground is 30m

As we know that

Perimeter of the rectangle is 2 (l + b)

Where

  • l = length
  • b = breadth

According to question :-

⇒2 (2x + x) = 30

⇒2 (3x) = 30

⇒6x = 30

⇒x = 30/6

⇒x = 5

Now

  • Breadth of the rectangular playground = x = 5m
  • Length of the rectangular playground = 2x = 2 × 5 = 10m

Hence, the dimensions of the rectangular playground are 5m and 10m respectively.

According to the question :

\implies \sf 3x\:=\: \dfrac{30}{2}

\implies \sf 3x\:=\: 15

\implies \sf x\:=\: \dfrac{15}{3}

\implies \sf x\:=\:5

  • Therefore , width of rectangular playground is 5 m .
  • Length = 2x = 2(5) = 10 m
