the length of a rectangular plot is 20 m more than its breadth if the cost of fencing the plot @ rupees 2 6.50 is rupees to 5300 what is the length of the plot in metre

But i think after more than 2 month it is useless.

Total cost = 5300
Cost per m = 26.50

l = b+20......(i)

Perimeter of plot = Total Cost/ Cost per m

= 5300/26.50
= 200m

Perimeter of rectangle = 200
2(l+b) = 200
l +b = 200/2
l+b = 100
b+20 +b = 100 (from equation i)
2b = 100-20
2b = 80
b = 40

l = b+20
l = 40+20
l = 60

Therefore length = 60.
