let the breadth be x
here as per the question.....
length is 4m more than breadth
I.e.length=x+4

now....as we know perimeter of rectangle=160m
perimeter=2(length+breadth)
160m=2(x+4+x)
160m=2(2x+4)
160m=4x+8
160m-8=4x
152m=4x
152/4=x
38m=x

therefore...x=38m
x+4=38+4=42m

\mathsf{Let,}

\mathsf{Breadth \ = \ b}

\mathsf{A/q}

\mathsf{Length \ = \ b + 4}

\mathsf{Perimeter \ of \ the \ plot \ -}

\mathsf{= \ 2(Length + Breadth)}

\mathsf{= \ 2(b + 4 + b)}

\mathsf{= \ 2(2b + 4)}

\mathsf{Also, }

\mathsf{Area \ = \ 160 \ m^2}

•°•

\mathsf{160 \ = \ 2(2b + 4)}

\mathsf{2b + 4 = 80}

\mathsf{2b \ = \ 80 - 4}

\mathsf{2b \ = \ 76}

\huge\mathsf\red{\boxed{b \ = \ 38 \ m}}

\mathsf{Length \ = \ 38 + 4}

\huge\mathsf\red{\boxed{l \ = \ 42 \ m}}
