Let the breadth of the rectangular plot is x m.

Then its length will be

= 5 1/3 * x m

= 16/3 * x m

= 16x/3 m

Given: the area of the plot is 270 square metres

>> 16x/3 * x = 270

>> 16x² = 810

>> x² = 810/16

>> x = 7.12 ( approximately )

Therefore the length of the rectangular plot is

= 16/3 * 7.12 m

= 37.97 m
