According to me
Lenght of rectangular plot = 7 +x m
Breath = x m
Perimeter = 154 m
Formula = 2( l + b)
= 2 [ 7 +x+x ] = 154
= 2(7+2x) = 154
= 7+2x=154/2
7 + 2x = 77
2x = 77-7
2x = 70
X = 70/2
X = 35m is the breath
35 + 7 = 42m is the length

Given

the length of a rectangular plot is 7 more than its breadth and its perimeter is 154m.

let the breadh of rectangular plot be X.

Length = X + 7
Breadth = X

Now, to find the measurements we are going to take perimeter.

Perimeter = 2(l+b)= 154m
= 2(x+7+x)=154m
= 2(2x+7)=154m
= 4x+14=154m
= 4x=154-14
= x = 140÷4
= x = 35m
so, breath = 35m
leangth = (35+7)m = 42m
