Given that : - Length of a rectangular plot is 7 cm more than is breadth.

Perimeter of the rectangular plot = 154 cm

Let the breadth be x.

Length = (x + 7)

Then,

2 × [(x + 7) + x] = 154

=> x + 7 + x = 154/2

=> 2x + 7 = 77

=> 2x = 77 - 7

=> x = 70/2

=> x = 35

Therefore,

Breadth = x = 35 cm

Length = ( x + 7) = (35 + 7) = 42 cm
