the length of a rectangular plot is 8 m greater than its breadth if the area of the plot is 308 m square find the length of length and the breadth of the plot

Let the breadth be 'x' m
Length = x+8 m
Area = 308 m^2
Area = L*B
308 = x*(x+8)....(i)
Factorizing 308
308 = 4*77 = 4*7*11 = 2*2*7*11 = 14*22
comparing with equation (i)
14*22 = x*(x+8)
Hence, Breadth of plot = 14 m
Length = 14+8 = 22 m
