let the length be 3x and breadth be x
therefore, area of rectangular plot=l×b sq.units
=768=3x×x
3 x square=768
x square=768/3
x square=256
x= root of 256
x=16 m

therefore,
length=3(16)=48 m
breadth=16 m

now,perimeter of rectangular plot=2(l+b)units
=2(48+16) units
=2(64)
=128 m
