The length of a rectangular plot is twice it's breadth.If the perimeter of the plot be 900 metre ,find its area

Answer:

L = 2B

Perimeter = 2(L+B)

900 = 2(2B + B)

900/2 = 3B

450 = 3B

B = 450/3

B = 150 m

L = 2B = 2×150 = 300 m

Area = LB = 150×300 = 45000 m²
