After changes area

area =l×b

=x^2-4x+10x-40

=x^2+6x+40

Therefore, both areas are same

x^2+4x=x^2+6x+40

40=x^2-x^2+6x-40

40=2x

x=40/2

x=20m

L=x+4

=20+4

=24m
