Let the breadth be 'x'

Therefore, length = 2x

Perimeter of rectangle = 300 m

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l) + 2(b)

300 = 2(2x) + 2(x)

300 = 4x + 2x

300 = 6x

x = 300 ÷ 6

x = 50

Length = 2 × 50 = 100 m

Breadth = 50 m

Area of rectangle = l × b

= 100 × 50

= 5000 sq.m

Area of rectangle is 5000 sq.m
