Let the breadth of the plot be X

So,

Length = 2X

Now,

Area of plot = 2X * X = 2X^2

Now,

Area of sqare swimming pool = 8 * 8 = 64m sq.

Area of sqare swimming pool = 1/8 of area of plot

64 = 1/8 * 2X^2

64 = 1/8 * 4x

64 = 4x/8

64 * 8 = 4×

8 = 4×

8/4 = x

2 = x

So,

Breadth of plot is 2

& length = 2 * 2 = 4
