Let the breadth of plot be x
Therefore length = 2x
Perimeter = 180 m
We know that,
Perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( l + b )
180 = 2 ( x + 2x )
➡ 2 ( 3x ) = 180
➡ 6x = 180
➡ x = 180/6 = 30m
Length of rectangular plot = 2x = 2(30) = 60 m
Breadth of plot = x = 30 m
Area of rectangle = l × b
➡ 30 × 60
➡ 1800 m²
Answer :-
Area of rectangular plot will be 1800 m².
