Given: The length is twice it's breadth

Area of square swimming pool = 8×8

To find: Length of plot

solution: Let the breadth be B

So, Length be 2B

And Area be x

8 \times 8 =  \frac{1}{8}  \times x

x = 512 {m}^{2}

Area of rectangle =L×B

512 = 2b \times b

2b = 612

b =  \sqrt{256}  = 16

Hence, the length of the plot is 16m

So, Area of plot = 2 me.

Area of swimming pool =8×8

=64 me

by question 64 = 2 /8 .= 64 ×

Step-by-step explanation:

Taking positive square root, we get x = 16
