take breadth as x

then length will be 2x

area of square pool will be 64 it occupies 1/8th so area of land is 64*8=512

then 2x * x = 512

2x^2 = 512

x^2=256

x=√256

x=16

length is 2x

therefore

length = 2 * 16

= 32m
