Let the breadth of the rectangular pool be x
As the length is 3 times breadth
=>breadth =3x

Perimeter of rectangular pool = 2(l+b)
128m=2(3x+x)
128m=2(4x)
128m=8x
128/8=x
16m=x
=>x=16m=breadth
Length =3x=3(16)=48m

hi frnd

perimeter of a rectangular pool =128m

let width=x

so length=x+4

perimeter of a rectangle =2(l+b)

so 2(x+x+4)=40

2(2x+4)=40

4x+8=40

4x=40-8

4x=32

x=32/4

x=8

therefore width =8m

so length =x+4

=12

I believe this will help u ;)
