let width be x
then length = x+6
area=x(x+6)
now length and width are increased by 2
new width=x+2
new length=x+2+6=x+8
new area=(x+2)(x+8)
(x+2)(x+8)-x(x+6)=64
x∧2+8x+2x+16-x∧2-6x=64
4x+16=64
4x=64-16
4x=48
x=12
width=12m
length=12+6=18m
then length = x+6
area=x(x+6)
now length and width are increased by 2
new width=x+2
new length=x+2+6=x+8
new area=(x+2)(x+8)
(x+2)(x+8)-x(x+6)=64
x∧2+8x+2x+16-x∧2-6x=64
4x+16=64
4x=64-16
4x=48
x=12
width=12m
length=12+6=18m
