Perimeter of the rectangular sheet=100cm

⇒2(length+breadth)=100cm

⇒2(35+breadth)=100

⇒35+breadth=

100

⇒35+breadth=50

⇒ breadth=50−35

⇒ breadth=15cm

Now, Area of rectangular sheet=length×breadth

=35×15=525cm

Thus, breadth and area of rectangular sheet are 15cm and 525cm

Answer:

DIMENSIONS= LENGTH = 30cm

WIDTH= 15cm

AREA=450cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

The length of a rectangular sheet is 2 times of its width.

Then we can assume the length as 2x and width as x.

We know that the perimeter of two sheets is 180 cm so the perimeter of one sheet will be 90cm.

So, now ,according to question= 2(2x+x)=90cm

4x+2x=90cm= 6x=90cm

= x=15cm.

So we now know the width of the sheet. So the length will be 2x means 2× 15 cm= 30 cm.

So, ultimately, we have length as 30 cm and width as 15 cm.

AREA= As we know the dimensions of the sheet of paper we will multiply the dimensions ( length and breadth) to get area. So the area will be 450 cm².
