let breadth be x

so length will be (x+3)

perimeter of hall=area of hall

2(l+b)=l×b

2(x+x+3)=x(x+3)

4x+6=x^2+3x

x^2+3x-4x-6=0

x^2-x-6=0

x^2-3x+2x-6=0

x(x-3)+2(x-3)=0

(x+2)(x-3)=0

x=3m. [as distance cannot be negative]

breadth =3m

length=x+3

=6m
