Answer:

Let the width(b) of the window be x

According to sum

length of the window (l)=5x

Perimeter of the window= 396cm

therefore perimeter of the rectangle=2(l+b)

2(5x+x) =396

2(6x)=396

12x=396

x=396/12

x=33

therefore width of window=33cm

length of window=5x=5(33)

=165cm
