the length of a rectangular wooden board is thrice it's breadth. If the length of the board is 120cm, find the cost of farming it at the rate of rupees 5 for 20 CM.​

let the breadth be x....

we are given an condition that

120=3x

so x=120/3=40.....

we got breadth 40cm ...

now we need to find the perimeter of the board ...

perimeter=2(l+b)

=2(l+b)

=2(120+40)

=2(160)

=320cm

so here we are given 5rs per 20cm....

so , cost per meter

=320/20*5

=16*5

=80rupees

so we will need 80 rupees to frame the board
