The length of a rectangular wooden board is thrice its width. If the width of the board is 120 cm, find the cost of framing it at the rate of Rs5 for 20 cm.

width of the board = 120cm

length of the board = thrice its width

= 3×120cm

= 360cm

perimeter of the the rectangular board= 2×(length + breadth)

=2×(120+360)

= 960cm

cost of framing 20cm = Rs5

cost of framing 1 cm = Rs20/5

‌ =Rs 4

cost of framing 960cm= Rs 4×960

=Rs 3840
