The length of a rectanguler hall is 3m more than its breadth.if the length is decreased by 2m and breadth increased by 4m the area increases by 12m square.find the dimensions of the hall​

breadth X

length X+3

area x×(X+3)=X square+3x

decrease length( X+3 )-2 =-2x-6

decrease breadth (X+4)

increase area =(-2x-6)(X+4) =-2(xSquare)-14x-24

-2(xsquare)-14x-24=xSquare +3x+12 square

-3x square -17x=144+24
