the length of a room is double it's breadth and height is 3m. if the area of four walls is 108msq find the volume of the room

Formula for 4 walls (LSA) = 2h(l+b)

108 = 2*3(2b+b)

108 = 6(3b)

108 = 18b

b     = 108/18 = 6

Then l =2b=2*6 = 12m

Volume =l*b*h

             = 12*6*3

             = 216 m^3
