Now the lengthy = 3x

perimeter = 2(l +b)
64 = 2(3x+x)
64/2 = 4x
64/2*4 = x
8 = x

so the breadth = 8cm
and length = 3 * 8
= 24 cm

so, b = 3x cm
perimeter= x + 3x + x + 3x
 or, 64 = 8x
 or, x = 64 / 8 = 8 cm

so, length= 3 x 8 = 24 cm
and breadth = 8 cm
