Answer:

7 1/15 m

Step-by-step explanation:

12 2/5 m = 62/ 5 m = initial length

5 1/3 m = 16/3 m = length cut

so, Length of remaining rope

= 62/5 - 16/3

= (62×3 - 16×5)/ 15

= 106/ 15 m

= 7 1/15 m

Answer:7 1/15m

Step-by-step explanation: length of the initial rope is 12 2/5m

Length of the rope cut is 5 1/3m

Changing mixed fraction to proper fraction , we get -

12 2/5m = 62/5

5 1/3m = 16/3

... so , length of left out rope - 62/5 - 16/3 = 62×3 - 16×5 / 15

=) 106/15 or 7 1/15m
