The length of a second’s pendulum on the surface of Earth is 1m. What will be the length of a second’s pendulum on the moon?

If time period is kept constant, length of a seconds pendulum is directly proportional to acceleration due to gravity. As its length on Earth is approximately 1 m, it will be about 1/6th of a metre on the moon. A pendulum is a weight suspended from a pivot so that it can swing freely.
