The length of a side of a square is represented by (3x-1). If the perimeter of the square is 68, find the value of x

side =3x-1
perimeter =68
we know that perimeter of square =4(side)
then 4(3x-1)=68
3x-1=68/4=17
3x=17+1
3x=18
x=18/3
x=6
