\bf{\underline{Question:-}}

The length of a side of a triangle is 6 cm. the second side is twice the third side. if the primeter of the triangle is 18 cm,find the side of a triangle

\bf{\underline{Given:-}}

  • length=6cm
  • Let the 3rd side be x,
  • then second side will be 2x
  • perimeter=18cm

perimeter = sum all sides of triangle

\bf{\underline{Solution:-}}

→ 18=x+2x+6

→ 18=3x+6

→ 18-6=3x

→ 12=3x

→ 12/3=x

→ 4cm=x

→ 2x=2×4

→ 8cm

\bf{\underline{Hence:-}}

  • Second side = 4cm
  • Third side = 8cm respectively
