The breadth of rectangular field is - 60 m

Perimeter of rectangle is given by the formula - 2(l+b)

Perimeter of square is given by the formula - 4 * sides

L represents length and b represents breadth.

Since perimeters of both the fields are same, hence,

4*sides = 2(l+b)

Given in question-

Sides = 80 m

Length of rectangular field = 100 m

Keeping the values in equation-

4 * 80 = 2(100+b)

320 / 2 = 100 + b

160 = 100 + b

B = 160 - 100

B = 60 m

Hence, breath of rectangular field is 60 m
