Here the length of the square field is given

length = 35 m

We have to find out what distance the man will cover in going around it three times the field.

First of all, we will find the perimeter of the field

Perimeter = 4(side)

                = 4 × 35

                 = 140 m

So, if he takes one round he will cover a distance of 140m

Distance covered in 1 round = 140 m

∴Distance covered in 3 rounds = 3 × 140

                                                   = 420 m

The man will cover a distance of 420 m in going around the field three times.

  • As per the given data in the question, we have to find the distance covered by a man.
  • Given data- Length or side =35m.
  • We know that A square has four equal sides. in this question length is a nothing but it is a side of a square.
  • We also know, the man will covered three times to the field.we get,
  • A square has four sides and one side length is also given the question,
  • So we will calculate the perimeter of the square field.
  • As we know the perimeter of square = 4\times side.
  • 1 Round=4\times side,

        \Rightarrow 4\times 35= 140.

  • The man covers three round of square field. we will calculate as,

        =140\times3=420.

        Hence the man will be covered 420m in three rounds of a square field.
