The length of a square garden is 20m Dineshbhai complete the work of spreading the soil in the garden at the cost of rupee 100 per square metre what amount will he get?

Solution:

Length = 20m but in square Length= Breadth

so Breadth is also 20 m.

Now, Area of square Garden is

 = {20}^{2}  = 2 0 \times 20 = 400 \:  {m}^{2}

and the cost for a single meter square is 100

so, the cost of whole garden is

 = 400 \times 100 = 40000rs
