The length of a square is increased by 10%. What will be the percentage increase in its area?

Let side of Square be “x” units

Original Area of the Square will be “ x² ” squ

10% increase in side will be (x*110/100) that is 11x/10 units

Hence changed length = 11x/10 units

Area of square with changed sides =121x²/100 squ

that is 21% increase in Area.
