it is firming a right angled triangle so you can use Pythagorean triplet. the answer is 3

Hi ,

Length of the tangent = l = 4cm

Length from center to the external

point = d = 5cm

Let the radius = r cm

r = √ ( d² - l² )

= √ ( 5² - 4²)

= √ ( 25 - 16 )

= √ 9

= 3

r = 3 cm
