The length of a tangent from a point A at distance 5cm from center of circle is 4cm find radius of circle. I need the diagram as well as the solution... Can anyone help me?

then angle OAB = 90

by Pythagoras theorem

OA2 = AB2 + BO2

=52=42+BO2

= BO2 is equal to 25 - 16

bo2 is equal to 9

bo =3

therefore the radius of the circle is 3
