so,

perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)

⟼2(3x + x) = 96 \\  \\ ⟼2(4x) = 96 \\  \\ ⟼8x = 96 \\  \\ ⟼x = 12

hence:-

the width of rectangle=12m

the length of rectangle=3*12=36m
