Answer:

Breadth =x

Length =2x

Perimeter =72m

Perimeter =2(l+b)

⇒72=2(2x+x)

⇒72=6x

x=12

∴breadth=12m

length=24m

Answer:

given:l=2b

perimeter=100m

that is 2(l+b)=100m

substitute l=2b in equation 2..

2(2b+b)=100

2(3b)=100

3b=50

b=50÷3

therefore l=2(50÷3)

=100÷3
