Solutions :-

Given :
Dimension of wall = 4 m × 15 cm × 3 m
= 400 cm × 15 cm × 300 cm
Dimension of brick = 20 cm × 10 cm × 8 cm

Find the number of bricks required to make a wall :-

Number \: \:   of  \:  \: bricks  =  \frac{Area \:  \: of \:  \: wall}{Area \:  \: of \:  \: each \:  \: brick}  \\  \\  =  \frac{400 \times 15 \times 300}{20 \times 10 \times 8}  \\  \\  = \frac{1800000 }{1600}   = 1125

Find the cost of 1125 bricks :-

1000 bricks = Rs 120
1 bricks = Rs 120/1000 = 0.12
1125 bricks = Rs (0.12 × 1125) = Rs 135

Hence,
1125 bricks required to make a wall.
The total cost of bricks = Rs 135

Dear ,

=≈≈≈===≈≈≈≈≈===≈≈≈≈≈=≈≈=
Step by Step Explanation ;-
=≈≈≈===≈≈≈≈≈===≈≈≈≈≈=≈≈=

Given ;-
• Wall's Dimension = 15 cm × 4 m × 3 m.
All the measurements in cm , i.e. ;-
= 15 cm + 400 cm + 300 cm.

Now , required number of bricks to build a wall ;-

number \: of \: bricks = \frac{area \: of \: the \:wall}{area \: of \: each \: brick}
So ,

 = > \frac{400 \times 15 \times 300}{20 \times 10 \times 5}

 = > \frac{1800000}{1600} = 1125

Now , the Cost if 1,125 bricks ;-

• 1,000 bricks = ₹ 120
• 1 Brick = ₹ { 120/1000 } = ₹ 0.12

So , the cost of 1,125 bricks ;-
• 1,125 × 0.12 = ₹135

Therefore ,
The total number of bricks required to make the wall is 1,125 and the cost is ₹135
