Solution:

Right angle triangle having two legs as 6  * 8

so hypotenuse = √6² + 8² = 1 0 unit

Area of triangle = (1/2) * 6 * 8  = 24 sq units

Area of triangle = (1/2) * hypotenuse * altitude  = (1/2) * 10  * altitude

= 5 * altitude

5 * altitude  = 24

=> altitude = 24/5

=> altitude = 4.8 unit
