the length of an rectangular field is twice it's breadth . if the perimeter of the field is 1500m, find the dimensions of the field.​

Answer:

Let the breadth of rectangular field be x.

then,it's length will be 2x

Given, perimeter = 1500 = 2(l+b)m

therefore,2(x+2x) - 1500

6x = 1500

x = 250m

Now length will be 2x = 2×250 = 500m

therefore length and breadth of a rectangular field are 500m and 250m respectively.
