curved surface area of conical tent = area of canvas

-------eq 1

area of curved surface of tent= π * r * h --------eq 2

where r is radius of the conical tent

and h is height of conical tent

area of canvas = L * D --------eq 3

where L is the length of the canvas

and D is the width of the canvas

using eq 1, 2, 3

=> π * r * h = L * D

=> π * 7 * 24 = L * 1.25

=> L = {(22/7) * 7 * 24}/(1.25)

=> L =( 22 * 7 * 24)/(7 * 1.25)

=> L = (22 * 24 * 4)/(5)

=> L = 422.2 meter

therefore 422.4 meter long ang 1.25 meter wide canvas is required to make conical tent with 7 meter radius and 24 meter height

so that the answer is option "c"440 meter
